Roofing is §489.105(3)(e) — Roofing Contractor. Installation, repair, replacement, waterproofing, and coating all fall within scope. As of 2022 amendments, the scope explicitly includes related wood roof sheathing repair and roof-to-wall connection enhancement. A general contractor may install wood shingles, wood shakes, or asphalt/fiberglass on a new building of their own construction (§489.113(3)(b)).
